Machining Manager

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of CNC machines to manufacture parts of products. Analyzes work order to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and exernal needs. Plans flow of materials through department. Interfaces with other in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Extablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

The Machinist must be able to start with a Machine Tool and put any product on the Machine Tool with a given process and tooling to produce the product in a reasonable amount of time.
